The T'E Manager Benelux is responsible for developing and executing a customer‑centric education and KOL strategy that supports business growth across the full customer journey. This includes ensuring that education, KOL engagement, partnerships, and a strategic approach to university collaboration are fully aligned with commercial priorities to drive customer acquisition, development, and loyalty.
The role acts as the central point for education excellence, KOL strategy, speaker management, and university partnerships in Benelux, with co‑ownership for developing and managing relationships with key academic institutions. The role works closely with the Head of Marketing, Marketing and Sales teams, global stakeholders, and external partners — including close collaboration with the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Education- Develop and deliver a Benelux education programme that aligns with commercial priorities and supports every stage of the customer journey and covering all segments.
- Own the full education lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, execution, and ROI assessment.
- Ensure strong linkage between education activities and lead generation, conversion, and customer growth.
- Utilise and further develop our own Straumann Benelux programme and the global curricula, as well as the curriculum of partners such as the ITI, universities and KOLs and adapt these to Benelux market needs.
- Continuously improve education programmes & formats using customer feedback and performance insights.
- Define and implement a Benelux KOL programme aligned to business priorities.
- Identify, support, develop, and retain high‑potential KOLs across multiple brands, segments and markets.
- Build and maintain a structured KOL database, ensuring segmentation and strategic deployment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for KOL engagement internally and externally.
- Ensure KOL utilisation is aligned to campaigns, education, and commercial priorities.
- Develop a structured and effective approach to internal product trainings aligned to product launches, campaigns, and strategic priorities.
- Support onboarding and continuous development of commercial teams.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistency and best practice sharing.
- Maintain speaker database.
- Collect speaker information such as CVs, portrait pictures and other useful information.
- Manage speaker agreements together with ASM.
- Actively coordinate speaker activities.
- Align with internal stakeholders and speakers on presentation topics.
- Update speaker profiles and help to select speakers according to their profile.
- Brief speakers before the event and de‑brief after the event.
- Act as the key liaison with the ITI (International Team for Implantology) in Benelux.
- Support and collaborate closely with ITI Netherlands and ITI Belgium associations.
- Integrate ITI activities into the overall Straumann education strategy.
- Leverage ITI as a core channel for customer engagement, education, and KOL development.
- Ensure strong coordination between ITI, Marketing, and Sales for follow‑up and impact.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with universities and educational institutions in Benelux.
- Identify opportunities to embed Straumann solutions into academic curricula.
- Build long‑term relationships with key academic stakeholders.
- Collaborate on joint education programmes and talent development initiatives.
- Support the development of future clinicians and KOL pipeline.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management to align education with growth priorities.
- Ensure strong handover and follow‑up processes between education activities and Sales.
- Establish clear KPIs to track education impact (leads, engagement, pipeline influence).
- Act as the Benelux interface for global and regional T&E teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 5‑8 years of experience in healthcare/medical device industry (Dental industry a plus).
- Experience in organising seminars, training courses or similar events.
- Experience in KOL management, education programmes, and partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills (internally and with customers).
- English (Business level) a must.
- Interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Well‑organised and structured.
- Comfortable to interact with different stakeholders and customers.
- Target orientated.
- PC skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint).
