Your activities may include:
- Initiating the development and implementation of (English-taught) bachelor education in the field of Computer Science;
- Teaching, supervising and coaching students;
- Conducting research within the Knowledge Centre for Data Intelligence;
- Developing tests and review methodologies and ensuring knowledge circulation.
We are looking for someone who
- Holds a PhD or master’s degree in the field of computer science, or a related field;
- Possesses professional English language skills at level C1 and Dutch language skills at level NT2 at the very least;
- Has demonstrable knowledge and experience within the field of real-time systems, embedded systems, state machines and distributed systems. Hands‑on demonstrable knowledge and experience in programming is a must;
- Is able to translate and convert this knowledge into practically usable solutions;
- Has experience with practice‑ and design‑oriented research;
- Has good oral and written communication skills and the ability for multidisciplinary collaboration;
- Thinks out‑of‑the‑box and has an open working attitude;
- Inspires colleagues to solve problems in an analytical, creative and innovative way;
- Is a team player who can collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
This is a vacancy for 1 FTE. We want to start with a one-year contract. If things work out well on both sides, we’d be happy to look into the possibility of an extension.
The salary is up to scale 11 (as laid down in the Collective Agreement for Universities of Applied Sciences, CAO-HBO). This means a minimum amount of €4.427,64 and a maximum amount of €6.677,44 gross per month based on full-time employment.
Holiday allowance of 8% and end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
