As Strategic Account & Growth Manager Netherlands, you are responsible for driving commercial performance and unlocking growth within a portfolio of key national accounts. While the role includes strategic ownership, the primary focus is on accelerating revenue, outperforming targets, and creating tangible commercial impact.
This is not a traditional account management role focused on maintaining relationships. Instead, it is a commercially driven position at the intersection of strategy and execution, where you actively push the business forward, identify growth levers, and translate strategy into measurable results.
You operate at head-office level within an international matrix organization and act as a key driver of performance across both B2B and B2C segments (approximately 50/50).
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and KPI performance within key national accounts
- Identify and unlock new commercial opportunities within existing customer relationships
- Develop and execute data-driven account and growth strategies
- Take ownership of volumes, targets, pricing, and commercial negotiations at HQ level
- Continuously monitor performance and steer based on data, insights, and market developments
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to maximize commercial impact
- Challenge and align internal stakeholders (including field sales) to ensure strong execution
- Operate effectively within an international matrix and align with European stakeholders

Requirements & qualifications
- Approximately 4–7 years of experience in a strategic commercial role (sales, account management, or similar) within an international environment
- Proven track record in driving sales, growth, and commercial performance
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience working with KPIs, targets, and performance management
- Ability to operate at different stakeholder levels, including head-office level
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a strong plus
- High learning agility and clear ambition to develop further
- C2 level of Dutch
- Professional proficiency in English
- French is a plus, but not a must
- Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 40%)
- Based in the Netherlands
- Gross annual salary between €90,000 and €105,000 (including holiday allowance and fixed bonus components)
