About the job

As an industrial mechanic, you are the key player within the maintenance team of a modern production environment. You are responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and installations. You ensure that production keeps running smoothly by quickly identifying and expertly resolving malfunctions. You work independently and are always looking for ways to improve processes.

Your average workday consists of inspecting installations, performing repairs, resetting machines, and documenting maintenance activities. You switch easily between different tasks and work closely with colleagues from other departments. Flexibility is important, as you will be working in a 3-shift system (morning, afternoon, and night shifts).

What we require

• At least mbo 4 (secondary vocational education) working and thinking level
• Experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar role is a plus (starters are also welcome)
• Willingness to follow courses and internal training
• Able to work well under pressure and easily set priorities
• Solution-oriented and affinity with technology
• Experience with welding is a plus
• Skilled in working with electrical and hand tools
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Flexible availability for 3-shift work
