We are a Chinese-Japanese restaurant and are looking for an Independent Chef I to strengthen our kitchen team. Do you have a passion for cooking and do you enjoy a dynamic kitchen environment? - Gross salary: €2,750 to €3,250.
Tasks
- Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
- Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
- Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making corrections where necessary.
- Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
- Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
- Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
- Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods.
Requirements
- You take independent initiative and act solution-oriented.
- You work with conviction and dare to take responsibility.
- MBO-3 work and thinking level (If you don't meet the requirements, apply anyway!)
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
