You will be working at one of our clients specialized in global logistics solutions. For this vacancy, you will receive a contract directly with our client.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating daily road transport shipments and managing bookings.
- Negotiating with subcontractors to secure the best freight rates.
- Maintaining close contact and building relationships with international customers.
- Monitoring shipments and keeping track & trace systems up to date.
- Proactively solving logistical bottlenecks and challenges.
- Managing the correct documentation and administrative processing.
- Optimizing loading processes in close cooperation with carriers.
- Handling billing and reporting on transport flows.
- MBO/HBO (vocational/professional) work and thinking level.
- Experience in logistics or transport is a major plus.
- A stress-resistant mindset; you keep your cool when things get busy.
- Strong negotiation skills and a true hands-on mentality.
- Result-oriented with a talent for setting the right priorities.
- A proactive and accurate way of working.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
