As Center of Innovation (COI) Chemist for Metalforming, you will support innovation projects by performing tests and benchwork for new development requests while collaborating with an international R&D team.

Tasks
What will you do?
Develop and improve our industrial fluid products used in Metalforming in order to enhance processes, safety and quality in order to meet customer needs and provide solutions to application problems.
- Support the senior chemists in developing and improving product formulations used in the metal deformation process for the automotive market.
- Carry out all lab work necessary for tests, benchmarking and determinations, aimed on providing new customer solutions as well as perform customer requested product analysis.
- Manage the documentation and certificate management process.
- Manage the correct maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Participate in product development projects supporting an experienced team and in cooperation with all involved parties such as Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain and key customer stakeholders as well.
Requirements
What do we look for?
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or technical degree in Chemistry and/or similar experience supporting lab operations. This is a role for someone who is motivated to work with both chemical & physiochemical matters.
All training needed is offered upon onboarding by a highly knowledgeable and senior team.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, colloid chemistry, inorganic chemistry or organometallic chemistry. Basic knowledge of or strong interest in Tribology (friction, lubrication, and wear) is considered an advantage.
Language skills: English good verbal and written communication level is a must.
