About the job Product Owner – Maintenance (BNL)

As Product Owner – Maintenance (BNL), you will play a critical role in delivering a next-generation cloud product, leading the transition from a legacy on‑premise solution to a modern SaaS platform across the Benelux region. You will drive product delivery while ensuring strong alignment with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.

This is a high‑impact role requiring strong product ownership, a hands‑on mindset, and the ability to balance roadmap delivery with customer transition at scale.

Your mission

In this role, you own the Maintenance product domain during a pivotal transformation phase. You will lead the product development lifecycle while ensuring a smooth migration path for existing customers to the new cloud platform.

You will work closely with Product, Development and Sales teams, acting as the key interface between business needs and technical execution. Your mission is to deliver a high‑quality, scalable product while safeguarding customer alignment and adoption.

You will report to the Product Lead - Maintenance and act as a trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuous value delivery.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with product strategy and business goals
  • Translate customer needs, technical requirements, and feedback into clear, actionable work items
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions and ensure high‑quality sprint planning
  • Drive product delivery in close collaboration with the development team
  • Ensure strong alignment between product roadmap and customer expectations
  • Actively engage with customers to gather insights, validate solutions, and support adoption
  • Support pre‑sales activities with product expertise and customer‑centric input
  • Coordinate the setup of new clients and oversee the transition of existing customers to the new platform
  • Monitor product performance, quality, and delivery progress
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies
  • Organize demos, stakeholder updates, and feedback sessions
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Development and Sales
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in product processes, delivery, and customer experience
What We’re Looking For
  • Native Dutch speaker with fluent English
  • Proven experience as Product Owner or similar role in a SaaS environment
  • Strong product ownership mindset with the ability to drive both product delivery and customer alignment
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Experience collaborating with development teams and international stakeholders
  • DevOps, Maintenance or Asset Management product knowledge is an advantage
  • Exposure to workplace or real estate product environment is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to support pre‑sales activities and customer engagement
  • Willingness to work 2–3 days per week in Arnhem office
Education and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in Higher Professional Education)
  • Strong affinity with IT and digital product environments
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
  • Experience with product management and collaboration tools (e.g. Backlog and workflow tools)
  • Ability to define product requirements and translate them into development‑ready tasks
