Your Job:
As theKey Account Manager, Benelux, youareresponsible forthe sales revenue of national key accountsand buying groupsacross athletic specialty, general sporting goods,internetand other channels of distribution. You willestablishsalesgoals, andbudgetsrelativeto these accounts toassuregoal achievement through direct contact with buyersandmerchandisers.You will work closely with theSalesManager,Benelux,to ensure that the Key Account strategy is aligned with the overall EMEA strategy.This role requires extensive travel to all required meetings and trade shows in an effort to achieve sales goals.
Your Responsibilities:Develop andimplement seasonalsales forecasts, product salesplansand annual revenue goals for each assigned key account.
Identifybusiness opportunities within your accounts and partner with the Sales Manager on the development of sales programs that drive sell thru at retail.Own thecommunicationand executionof salesprograms that position Brooks as the leader in performance running.
Report to, and support, the Sales Manager on ensuring Key Account revenuegrowth.
Lead all seasonalsellin presentations toensure backlog growth and increase market share at all key accounts.
Take an active role in retail promotions at all National Accounts. Work closely with National Account Marketing Manager to develop seasonal marketing programs.
Participate in planning and execution of product education events in conjunction with Sales management and marketing.
Develop andmaintaingood customer rapport and a positive image.
Conduct regular meetings with key accountsto analyze plan performance toidentifyopportunities or maximizeperformance.
Partnerwith Product Management and Marketing on product issues, improvements on existing products, new productrequirementsand competitive information
Maintain current awareness of competitors, competitive productlinesandprogramsand share relevant information with the sales team.
Complete andsubmiton atimely basis expense reports, business activity of each assigned account and key account strategy development.
AssistSalesManager BLXon all key account business and special projects.
Travel required to tradeshows,retailevents, bi-annual sales meetings, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management,Marketingor related field.
3+years’ experiencein sales management and/or key accountmanagementrequiredpreferably within the sporting goods industry.
Retail Sales Experience of3years preferred.
Strategic account management experience preferred.
Excellent knowledge of computers and ability to work with programs such as Excel, PowerPointand Word.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,in particular asit relates to understanding andidentifyingcustomer needs.
Strong presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company.
Keen attention to detail in planning,organizationand execution of tasks, while stillmaintainingthe larger, strategic direction.
Ability toanticipatehow decisions canimpactour customers as well as all other external and internal stakeholders.
Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details andhelp outwherevernecessary.
A passion forthe running enthusiastand practicing an active lifestyle.
Regular travel within theBeneluxregion.
