Description of assignmentAs a Campus Recruitment Intern at Vanderlande, you will play an important role in attracting and engaging the next generation of talent. You will support the Campus Recruitment Team in strengthening our presence at universities and colleges, organizing inspiring events, and improving the way we connect with students. This internship gives you the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in recruitment, event management, employer branding, and stakeholder collaboration within an international and innovative organization.
You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and Vanderlande ambassadors, and you will be involved in the full process; from building relationships with educational institutions to screening and matching student profiles with the right internship or graduation assignment. You will also be present at events on‑site and represent Vanderlande as an ambassador. In addition to supporting the team, you will have the opportunity to work on your own project or research assignment that aligns with your studies.
Department descriptionYou will be part of the Talent Acquisition EMEA Team (approximately 15 colleagues), working closely with the Campus Recruitment team. The team is energetic, collaborative, and passionate about building strong relationships with future talent and academic partners and working across the EMEA region.
Tasks/responsibilities- Support the development and execution of our Campus Recruitment strategy.
- Organize internal and external events (inhouse days, excursions, career fairs, workshops).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and study associations.
- Screen student profiles and match them to suitable internships or graduation assignments.
- Collaborate with hiring teams and assist them in preparing and shaping meaningful student assignments.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects within the recruitment process and event strategy.
- A proactive and enthusiastic student who enjoys organizing, coordinating, and connecting.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with various stakeholders.
- Creative, structured, and able to take initiative.
- Interested in HR, recruitment, talent development, or event management.
- Able to work independently while contributing actively to the team.
- Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
