Sales Manager – N.W. Europe, E. Europe and Turkey
The Sales Manager for N.W. Europe, E. Europe and Turkey is responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of our Company in his/her area and with his/her team. Furthermore, you are to expand and maintain the domestic and international market for our company's products and services.
The position will report to the Sales & Marketing Director of the company, and you will be part of the Worldwide Sales Team.
What we expect from you:- Develop and execute the sales strategy in line with company objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments
- Manage and grow relationships with existing and new key partners in the region in a proactive, reliable and genuinely supportive way.
- Being accountable for all budgetary expectations in the region. Which may include managing cost spending in region, marketing expenses and meeting predetermined sales goals. Annual budget recommendations are expected with a focus on growing market share.
- Reporting on market developments and providing suggestions for product improvements, product developments and price adjustments as applicable for his/her area.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction.
- Working in close cooperation with his/her team of sales support and cross department colleagues as one team to meet the set KPI’s
- Be innovative and have a forward-looking mindset.
- You hold a Commercial degree (BA/BSc) in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- You have at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in an international sales (preferably maritime) environment
- Your ability to travel
- Experienced in developing and implementing sales strategies for technology driven products.
- You possess the energy and the drive to achieve sales targets
- You have excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation, be proactive and reliable in communication with customers.
- You are fluent in English + a good command (German/Dutch is preferred) in other languages is favorable
