This role partners with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Patient Safety to drive strategic direction, foster innovation, and ensure effective operational execution.

Your role:

  • Strategic planning and execution: Leads the alignment and execution of medical affairs strategies with overall IGTS and Philips Medical Office objectives, driving innovation and operational excellence.
  • Decision-making support: Provides high-level analysis and recommendations to support effective leadership decision-making in medical and clinical affairs.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Fosters integration and collaboration between medical affairs and other departments, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to advance business and clinical objectives.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Sets clear goals, ensures compliance, manages risk, and optimizes program outcomes to maximize product value and organizational effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder management and culture: Drives talent management and cultivates a positive work environment to support team engagement, development, and retention.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 6+ years of people management experience strongly preferred, 8+ years of experience in Medical/Clinical Affairs within the Medical Device industry.
  • Your skills include profound knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, hands-on domain medical and clinical expertise, including experience in medical/clinical strategy and process development; ideally hands on with software as a medical device and artificial intelligence.
  • You have an MD education required with strong preference towards board-certified cardiologist, radiologist or surgeon backgrounds. Sub specialization in interventional cardiology, radiology or surgery preferred.
  • You're an excellent communicator, with strong expertise in project management, clinical study design and management, and demonstrated success driving cross-functional collaboration along the produce lifecycle. You have strong commercial and business acumen, experience with due diligence, patient and user-focused solution thinking; and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage relationships with regulators and professional societies.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is office-based.
