I’m looking for someone who:- Has proven senior line‑management experience in complex IT environments
- Has managed senior delivery leads and professionals
- Has experience guiding teams through reorganisations, scaling phases or structural change
- Has handled structural underperformance, improvement trajectories and exit decisions
- Can operate independently in a high‑pressure, politically complex environment
- Is strong in senior stakeholder management
- Brings high self‑awareness and reflective capability
- Has experience working with distributed teams, including nearshore/offshore (e.g. India)
- Owning line management, development and performance for all delivery professionals
- Building a strong delivery community with clear expectations and career paths
- Setting and maintaining behavioural and performance standards
- Intervening early when quality or performance drops
- Leading confidently through ambiguity and organisational change
- Maintaining calm authority during escalations
- Protecting teams from unnecessary distractions
- Making decisions without needing consensus
- Ensuring teams deliver sustainably, not just quickly
