Whether you're performing small sewing jobs, organizing linen storage, or supporting the laundry process, every detail you manage contributes to a seamless guest experience.

Job Overview

The Laundry & Wardrobe Associate is responsible for the careful upkeep of all hotel linens, guest garments, and staff uniforms. This role requires adherence to Rosewood’s brand standards, with a focus on quality, precision, and professionalism. You will handle everything from uniform maintenance and wardrobe restocking to guest laundry pick-up and delivery, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Wardrobe Management:

1. Inspect uniform racks daily and manage uniform turnover.
2. Perform regular maintenance and touch-ups on uniforms.
3. Restock wardrobe rails, update online inventory, and manage new stock.
4. Participate in implementing new uniforms and annual inventory tasks.

Guest Linen and Laundry Service:

1. Pick up and deliver guest laundry promptly, ensuring items meet Rosewood’s standards.
2. Handle small sewing tasks for guests, including sewing on furniture.
3. Coordinate with the outsourced laundry service, maintaining strong communication.
4. Keep the linen storage area organized, ensuring a well-stocked inventory.

Laundry Activities:

1. Wash linens, rugs, and other items in-house using appropriate cleaning products.
2. Support houseman with linen restocking, handling dirty and clean linens.
3. Report any technical issues with laundry equipment promptly.
4. Maintain a clean and tidy work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Professionalism and Flexibility:

1. Uphold Rosewood’s standards for professional conduct, safety, and cleanliness.
2. Collaborate with other associates to support the hotel’s overall success.
3. Follow lost and found procedures and other established protocols.

Critical Skills & Qualifications

1. Physically fit, with a neat appearance and strong punctuality.
2. Flexible with scheduling to accommodate business needs.
3. Team-oriented, motivated, and able to work independently.
4. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
5. Previous experience in laundry is required.
