What you’ll doAs Food & Beverage Supervisor for Events at De L’Europe Amsterdam, you are the beating heart of every event we host. From intimate private dinners to large‑scale receptions, you ensure that every moment runs flawlessly and that every guest feels genuinely welcomed and cared for. You supervise and coordinate the service team on the floor, lead by example and bring out the best in your colleagues through inspiration and hands‑on support. Working closely with the kitchen, bar and Events office, you ensure seamless timing and execution from the first setup to the final breakdown. You know the Banquet Event Order inside out, anticipate what is needed before anyone has to ask, and handle last‑minute changes with calm professionalism. You monitor stock levels, event supplies and equipment, and leave every event space in perfect condition for what comes next. Throughout it all, you uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety and presentation because at De L’Europe, there is no such thing as almost perfect.
Who are you- You have at least 3 years of Food & Beverage experience, preferably within a luxury or high‑end hospitality environment
- Proven experience in a supervisory or senior service role (e.g. Chef de Rang or Supervisor)
- A natural host with a passion for creating unforgettable guest moments
- Strong knowledge of service, beverages and a love for refined details such as tea service and presentation
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
- Highly organized, calm under pressure and energized by a fast‑moving environment
- Proactive, solution‑oriented and attentive to detail
- A positive team player who inspires others with clarity, kindness and professionalism.
- Experience in a luxury or international hotel
- Experience working with international guests and VIP events
- Knowledge of fine dining service techniques and luxury hospitality standards
- Creative flair to surprise and delight guests.
