We're searching for a People & Payroll Governance Team Lead - a unique leadership opportunity for someone with strong theoretical payroll knowledge who wants to focus on coaching, quality, and oversight, not hands?'on processing.
You'll manage a team of 8-12 Payroll Specialists and act as the strategic knowledge owner for payroll accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the Netherlands.
What You'll Lead & Own
- Lead, inspire, and grow a team of payroll professionals
- Oversee payroll quality, compliance, and audit readiness
- Manage escalations and complex payroll inquiries
- Drive continuous improvement, SLAs, and process excellence
- Support reporting and payroll governance
What You Bring
- Strong people leadership experience
- Theoretical payroll knowledge (Practical Diploma in Payroll Administration preferred)
- Understanding of Dutch tax/payroll regulations
- Advanced Dutch + intermediate English
