Join our team as a Crop Worker and contribute to a leading agricultural company specializing in crop research and development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.

In this role, you will perform daily tasks in our greenhouse, ensuring precision and accuracy in phenotyping tomato plants and participating in other logistical tasks. Your contribution will be vital to our mission of advancing agricultural innovation.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Collect data in the greenhouse daily and accurately enter it into our system

• Assist with planting and the start-up of crops during specific periods of the year

• Perform a wide range of plant care activities such as: sowing, watering, plant twisting, lowering plants, planting, leaf pruning, cluster vibration, harvesting, and seed collection

• Maintain order in tasks and perform double checks of data to guarantee accuracy

• Keep the greenhouse and workspaces clean and organized

• Work together with the team in preparing tests and other logistical tasks, with a willingness to learn and support different activities

Working hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Wat wij vragen

• Own accommodation and transportation to work

• Experience in seed companies or an agricultural education/background

• Good command of English and/or Dutch, both spoken and written, with the ability to understand verbal and written instructions

• Compliance with HSE and phytosanitary regulations while performing tasks

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with constructive communication skills

Wat wij bieden

• Gross salary: €15.87 per hour

• Travel allowance: €0.23 per km

• Overtime allowance: 140% for hours above 38 per week

• 8.33% holiday allowance + 25 vacation days per year
