Senior Product Manager Payments

The opportunity

We’re partnering with a fast-growing international SaaS platform serving millions of small businesses globally. The company is building next-generation financial tooling embedded directly into its core platform,enabling customers to manage and grow their businesses through seamless payment experiences.

They are now hiring a Senior Product Manager (Payments) to own a strategic product area at the intersection of SaaS and embedded finance. This is a high-impact role shaping both product strategy and commercial outcomes.

Your role & impact

You will define the future of the platform’s payments offering and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the payments domain

• Translate customer needs and market insights into scalable product opportunities

• Lead cross-functional teams of engineering, design, and business stakeholders

• Drive prioritisation decisions and manage trade-offs across product initiatives

• Build business cases and investment proposals for senior leadership

• Define success metrics and use data to guide product strategy and optimisation

• Develop deep customer understanding through research and direct engagement

• Mentor and support other product managers, helping elevate product practices

What we’re looking for

This role requires someone who combines strategic thinking, strong execution, and deep domain expertise in payments or financial services.

Required experience

• 7+ years in product management, including significant ownership of product areas

• 5+ years in FinTech, payments, embedded finance, banking, accounting, or related domains

• Track record of delivering measurable business impact through product initiatives

• Experience leading cross-functional teams using agile delivery methods

• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making

• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders

• Customer-centric approach with strong product intuition

Nice-to-have experience

• Knowledge of payment infrastructure (merchant acquiring, card issuing, payment facilitation, embedded finance)

• Experience building financial products within SaaS environments

• Exposure to international payment markets

• Experience launching and iterating products rapidly based on customer feedback
