Global Sustainability Officer

As Global Sustainability Officer, you will elevate sustainability from a compliance function to a strategic business driver that enhances customer value, supports decision‑making and strengthens our global competitive position.

You will lead the development of credible ESG data and frameworks, translate sustainability into measurable value propositions, and work closely with commercial, operational and product teams to embed sustainability across the business.

This is a high‑impact role with broad international scope, directly contributing to AmbaFlex’s long‑term growth and helping shape the future of material handling solutions.

You will report to the Global Finance Director and partner with leaders across functions and geographies.

• Define & build ESG data foundations. Establish metrics, data collection processes and governance that enable robust sustainability reporting and insight generation
• Develop and verify product and solution level sustainability value propositions used in tenders and customer engagements
• Support go‑to‑market teams. Equip commercial teams with tools, dashboards and content that differentiate AmbaFlex offerings in the market
• Prepare the business for evolving global ESG regulations and supply chain due diligence requirements
• Partner with Operations, Product, Finance, Sales and external affairs to deliver sustainability outcomes aligned with strategy
• Contribute to ratings, certifications and external communications that strengthen AmbaFlex’s reputation

You are a strategic, analytical and business-minded sustainability professional who thrives in an international, fast‑paced environment.

You bring:

• Experience driving ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting or value‑based sustainability initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable insight
• Commercial sensibility. You have the ability to link sustainability to customer value and competitive advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and influence without formal authority
• A proactive mindset and a hands‑on approach to implementation
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)
