Project Manager Operations

We are partnering with a leading organization specializing in complex IT infrastructure and communications projects. The company is committed to delivering innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and connectivity across diverse industries.

We are seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager for Operations to oversee the implementation of Microsoft Teams Phone systems across multiple locations. This role involves managing technical workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless deployment and adoption of new telephony infrastructure in a fast‑paced environment.

• Establish and maintain project governance routines, including steering meetings, progress reviews, and decision forums. Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee the end‑to‑end project plan covering Teams Phone migrations, SBC implementations, SIP trunk design, hardware deployment, and network readiness.
• Identify and mitigate risks through proactive RAID log management, elevate issues promptly, and coordinate change management activities.
• Support technical design translation into actionable tasks, facilitate design reviews, and assist in creating technical documentation and runbooks.
• Coordinate with telecom and cloud service providers to ensure alignment on project milestones, testing, and cut‑over plans. Track vendor deliverables and support cost and prioritization discussions.
• Ensure business readiness by working with local teams on onboarding, device setup, communication plans, and user training. Support smooth transition and post‑migration support.

• 3–7 years of experience managing IT infrastructure, cloud, or telecom projects.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams Voice, SBC concepts, SIP trunking, and cloud telephony architectures.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to explain technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience working with vendors or managed service providers.
• Skilled in project planning, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation.
