We are Wereld Restaurant Samen B.V. In The Hague, and we are lookingfor a passionate Independent Working Chef Level I to join our kitchenteam. Are you a skilled chef who thrives in the kitchen? As our chef, youwill be responsible for the preparation and presentation of dishes and mealcomponents. You will work under the guidance of our head chef or ownerbut can also independently manage the kitchen when needed.Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow chefs and, if required,supervise kitchen assistants. Tasks

• Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
• Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) andmaking adjustments as needed.
• Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
• Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making correctionswhere necessary.
• Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checkingdeliveries.
• Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, andworkstations.
• Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
• Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments ofmenus, the menu list, and working methods

Requirements

• MBO-3 work and thinking level (If you don't meet the requirements,

• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
