About the RoleThis position supports a quantitative and analytics‑focused team within a scientific manufacturing environment. The Specialist will automate, improve, and streamline statistical and data analysis processes through tools, workflows, and applications. The role combines hands‑on statistical work, solution building, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to enhance data‑driven decision‑making.
Responsibilities- Apply statistical concepts to solve challenges related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Build RShiny mock‑up applications and develop scalable analytics tools.
- Create analytical workflows using R, Python, Minitab, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to access and validate data.
- Translate user requirements into solution designs and actionable analytics plans.
- Partner with business teams to implement best practices and continuous improvements.
- Promote efficiency in data analysis through automation and AI‑driven workflows.
- Support quantitative project work, such as simulations, predictive modelling, and root‑cause analysis.
- MSc in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, data science).
- Strong programming skills in R and experience building RShiny applications.
- Ability to clearly communicate statistical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Work approximately three days per week onsite; hybrid arrangements possible.
- Exposure to advanced statistics, data science, simulation, and automation technologies.
