Equipment Engineer

Our client is a regulated manufacturing organization operating in a high-compliance environment, supportingdevice assembly, inspection, labeling and packagingoperations.

AsEquipment Engineer, you will scope and execute technical equipment projects that support manufacturing performance, safety, and compliance. You’ll oversee equipment design activities, support installation/commissioning, and drive improvements across the equipment lifecycle.

• Scope and execute technical projects supporting manufacturing in assembly/inspection/labeling/packaging
• Coordinate detail engineering and create design documentation (URS, FDS, HDS, design review documentation)
• Prepare and execute characterization activities/experiments to optimize performance
• SupportFAT/SATwith engineering teams and suppliers
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and ensure equipment meets required standards
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement improvements
• Contribute toroot cause investigationsand cross-functional problem solving
• Ensure compliance withGMPand internal procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment by followingEHS/HSErules and practices

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) inMechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering(or relevant equivalent experience)
• Typically6+ yearsrelevant experience, including4+ yearsin operations/manufacturing (pharma/regulated preferred)
• Strong knowledge of equipment design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance processes
• Hands-on experience producing/owning documentation likeURS/FDS/HDS
• Experience working in a regulated environment(e.g., GMP)
• Fluency inEnglish(written and spoken)
• Proficiency withMS Office
• Experience specifically inautomated device assembly, labeling and packaging
• Strong vendor management and multi-stakeholder project execution experience
• Exposure to structured improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)
