Accounts Payable Specialist

The role

As a AP specialist, you will oversee financial data set, as being involved in month end close and daily accounting activities. This role requires 2-4 years of proven work experience, preferable with startups and OEM business. We value our candidate norms and ethics most that could be aligned with Zeekr’s fast paced working environment.

This is what you will do:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, posting, and payment execution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Match invoices with purchase orders and goods receipt (3-way matching) and resolve discrepancies with internal stakeholders
• Manage vendor master data and respond to supplier inquiries regarding payment status and account reconciliation
• Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with payment terms and internal controls
• Perform AP closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and support for month-end and year-end close
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards and tax requirements (e.g. VAT)
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Identify process inefficiencies and actively contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and business teams to ensure smooth end-to-end P2P processes

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in accounts payable or transactional finance roles
• Solid understanding of AP processes, invoice matching, payment cycles, and basic accounting principles
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and strong proficiency in Excel
• Good knowledge of VAT and local statutory requirements is a plus
• High attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work under tight closing timelines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
