Single Cell Discoveries is looking for a Lab Technician to join our team.

Single Cell Discoveries is a fast-growing biotech company seeking a highly motivated Lab Technician with a passion for single-cell sequencing to join our expanding Lab Services team. Single Cell Discoveries is a start-up company that provides single-cell sequencing services to clients around the world in academia and industry. With a team of 30, we work together to offer cutting edge single-cell, bulk and spatial transcriptomics sequencing services and help scientists worldwide get the best out of their research. We have an active R&D department that works on developing new sequencing methods and on bringing single cell technology to the clinic.

• Execute high-throughput, plate-based workflows across both single-cell and bulk pipelines.
• Be responsible for ensuring timely project completion, maintaining open communication with clients, and collaborating with our teams to optimize existing workflows and develop new ones.
• Take ownership of LIMS administration, ensuring accurate sample tracking and experimental data management.
• Contribute to exciting R&D projects focused on advancing workflows, pushing the boundaries of single-cell research.
• As part of our tight-knit team, support colleagues across various projects, fostering a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere.

• Bachelor\'s or Master’s degree or equivalent with at least two years of experience in an industrial laboratory setting.
• Experience and affinity with liquid handling robots.
• Proven proficiency in NGS workflows or similar technologies.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, adhering to good laboratory practices.
• A flexible mindset and willingness to embrace changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A strong intrinsic motivation to learn new things and stay at the forefront of (single-cell) sequencing technology.
• Excellent English language skills (both written and verbal) for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
