Automation Specialist Anomaly Detection

As an Automation Specialist Anomaly Detection, you search for bottlenecks within analytical processes. You figure out which parts you can automate so that the team can make more impact. It's your challenge to design, build and manage these processes. This makes you part of the technical backbone of the team.

Responsibilities

As an Automation Specialist Anomaly Detection, you help automate analytical processes. This way you help the team to make more impact. Together with the team and your stakeholders, you determine where in the process there are bottlenecks and fix them. You work a lot with Time Series Anomaly Detection. This allows stakeholders to indicate which metrics they want to monitor via a React User Interface. This results in ~200,000 forecasts and analyzes per day that are made with Python, Google Cloud, BigQuery. You design, build and manage these processes yourself.

You enjoy doing this

• Solve technical data puzzles. For example, finding a way to automatically answer questions about split testing results.
• Make forecasting ~200,000 time series robust and scalable on a daily basis.
• Build a Large Language Model 'layer' over our data, so that we gain insights from data more easily.
• Translate the needs of stakeholders into scalable data solutions. You are critical and say 'no' if necessary.
• Sometimes the simplest solution is the right one.
• Collaborate with many different stakeholders. This also includes having robust discussions.

You recognize yourself in the following

• A Master's Degree with a statistical or IT component, such as Business Analytics, Econometrics, Economics, Marketing Analytics or Business Information Management.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Eager to learn. You want to know everything about data and data processes and how to work with SQL and Python. You will also work with tools such as dbt, Looker and Airflow.
• A good understanding of the English language. You live in the Netherlands.
