Marketplace Specialist

As a Marketplace Specialist, you play a key role in the commercial growth of Maxodeals. You are fully responsible for managing, optimising, and growing our marketplace channels on Ebay and Amazon. On eBay, we operate one of the largest accounts in the Netherlands. With your expertise, you directly influence revenue, visibility and customer experience of our brand.

You operate at the heart of Sales and E-commerce, combining analytical insight with hands-on execution. As a Marketplace Specialist you can fully leverage your skills in optimization, advertising, and analytics. You will work closely with Sales, E-commerce, and Content teams to continuously improve performance and results.

Are you the Marketplace Specialist who takes ownership, spots opportunities, and turns data into growth?

• Own and manage the day-to-day operations across all marketplace channels, ensuring strong account health, compliance, and performance.
• Drive revenue growth by optimising product listings, pricing, content, SEO keywords, and conversion based on data, trends, and competitor insights.
• Monitor and report on key marketplace KPIs, translating performance data into concrete actions and improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners, manage ad campaigns, and contribute to the long-term marketplace strategy for Maxodeals.
• Select, manage, and optimise marketplace tools (such as Channable) and resolve technical issues like M2E sync errors and listing problems.
• Exploring new marketplace opportunities in emerging markets such as Asia, Central & South America.
• Affinity with marketplace advertising.

• Salary between €3500 and €4500 gross p/m.
• Location: Roosendaal/Rotterdam (min. 2 days Roosendaal)
• 28 vacation days, with the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
• One week per year working abroad.

• 3-5 years proven experience in managing marketplaces such as eBay.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
• Experience with product listing optimisation, pricing strategies, and marketplace advertising.
• A proactive, ownership-driven attitude - you see opportunities and act on them.
• Fluent English (Dutch is a plus).

• After a successful first interview, you may be invited to a trainee session of approximately two hours. This session offers you a behind-the-scenes look at Maxodeals, helping you gain a clear understanding of our organization and the role.
• A background check (VOG) and an assessment may be part of the selection procedure.
