OverviewFor our HS&E (Health, Safety & Environment) team we are in search of an Associate Environmental Specialist. The Associate Environmental Specialist supports the development and implementation of the environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures, in accordance with local laws, regulations and applicable standards for our European organization. The HS&E team consists of 8 team members. You will report to the Senior Environmental Specialist.
Key responsibilities- Understand and promote compliance with the current environmental rules, policies, and standards of the organization
- Support in drafting the environmental rules, policies, and standards of the organization
- Understand and follow Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and ISO 13485 and ISO 14001
- Collect, record and analyze environmental data and trends
- Contribute to the preparation of environmental reports for data analysis
- Support in the development and implementation of processes, measures, analytics, to enhance the environmental performance within the organization
- Support in internal and external environmental audits and inspections as required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in environmental related field of study
- Work experience in an international regulated environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Communication skills in Dutch is an advantage
