Your contribution will be
- Ensuring the consolidation of administrative and financial processes is fully in line with Dutch legislation, CBF standards, and international policies
- Jointly preparing the audit and annual financial statements together with the external accounting firm
- Monitoring budgets, identifying variances, and preparing financial analyses and forecasts for the director, the board, and the international organisation
- Planning and managing cash flow
- Reviewing payments and overseeing the accounts payable by administration, including coordination with the external accounting firm
- Performing financial analyses and evaluations to identify and support opportunities for cost and process optimisation
Your profile ideally illustrates
- A higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking
- Several years of demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably with familiarity with RJ 650 for charitable organisations
- Extensive experience with financial processes
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages, verbally and in writing
- Analytically strong, accurate, trustworthy, and results-oriented
- Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission
