Business Oracle Systems Analyst - OperationsHelp shape the future of operational excellence. This role is all about driving meaningful improvement across core business processes - strengthening supply chain execution, modernising systems, and enabling teams to work smarter.
You'll be at the heart of a transformation across Operations, Finance, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service, with three priorities:
- Optimising smarter: enhancing Oracle E‑Business Suite, improving integrations, and building scalable solutions that support efficiency and accuracy.
- Accelerating operations: reducing complexity, streamlining order flows, inventory processes, and warehouse interactions, and ensuring the business has the tools to move fast.
- Driving value: translating real business needs into high‑impact system enhancements, enabling teams to make better decisions and deliver for customers.
As Business Systems Analyst - Operations, you'll partner with business leaders, process owners, and technical teams to make this vision real. You'll document requirements, shape functional designs, guide implementation, and ensure solutions truly land with the organisation.
What you\'ll do- Lead projects from initiation through implementation, including requirements gathering, functional design, testing, training, and post‑go‑live support
- Work across multiple Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 areas, with deep expertise in Order Management, Inventory, Receivables, Shipping, Advanced Pricing, EDI, Intercompany flows, and related modules
- Support critical operational processes such as planning & scheduling, inventory replenishment, serial‑level transactions, PO processes, internal order flows, receiving, outside processing, outsourced warehouse integrations, and more
- Guide technical teams on reports, extensions, interfaces, and customizations
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with functional owners to implement change
- Support and enhance integrations with non‑Oracle applications
- Create functional requirements and technical design documentation
- Drive test planning and execution for upgrades, changes, and new functionality
- Provide day‑to‑day application troubleshooting and end‑user support
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and support global teams when needed
- Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to communicate confidently with both business leaders and technical teams
- Strong documentation skills; experience with AIM methodology
- Deep knowledge of operational processes (customer service, shipping, warehousing) and Oracle E‑Business Suite
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Excellent collaboration and customer service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle Supply Chain modules in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role
- Experience with EDI, SQL/PLSQL, and Oracle application tables preferred
- Experience implementing and supporting Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 applications
- Professional office environment with standard office equipment
- Primarily a sedentary role
- Occasional travel (<5%)
