About the role: As our Jewellery Team Leader, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, leading a passionate team, ensuring quality and efficiency in every piece we handle, and setting the tone for a supportive, high-performing environment. From day-to-day team management to training, reporting, and performance development, you’ll play a crucial role in helping us meet key business targets while nurturing a positive and inclusive culture.
Getting Started…
- Conduct regular 1:1s to understand your team and begin shaping performance.
- Lead from the front, actively supporting the sorting and lotting process.
- Work with our Quality Assurance/Training Lead to onboard and develop new recruits.

- Introduce weekly reporting to track progress, flag challenges, and guide improvements.
- Support recruitment efforts, interviewing, and onboarding new talent.
- Champion recognition and reward, ensuring team successes never go unnoticed.

- Build and implement strategies to improve productivity, performance, and job satisfaction.
- Create a strong, connected team that meets or exceeds revenue and efficiency targets.
- Collaborate with other team leaders on wider training initiatives and shared goals.
- Drive up accuracy and speed in the jewellery sorting and lotting process.
- Consistently achieve (and exceed) departmental KPIs.

- Lead and inspire the jewellery team to stay motivated, engaged, and consistently deliver strong performance.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones to offer feedback, support development, and manage individual performance.
- Maintain high standards through regular quality assurance checks, ensuring accuracy in the sorting and lotting process.
- Support new team members with clear, structured training plans in collaboration with the Quality Assurance/Training Lead.
- Oversee day-to-day workloads, ensuring targets are met and operations run smoothly.
- Provide weekly reports that highlight team performance, identify challenges, and set priorities for the week ahead.
- Contribute to recruitment efforts by supporting the talent team, conducting interviews, and helping new starters settle in.
- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture where wellbeing is prioritised and everyone feels valued.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally within a retail, production, or operations environment.
- Strong people management skills, you know how to motivate, guide, and develop others.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with a proactive, approachable style.
- Experience in quality assurance, with an eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
