About the RoleThe Maintenance Planner ensures efficient preparation, planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of maintenance activities across utilities, production equipment, and building-related installations. The role safeguards operational continuity, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and supports both preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
Responsibilities- Prepare, plan, and support execution of maintenance activities for equipment and process installations.
- Monitor maintenance guidelines and procedures, proposing improvements to increase equipment reliability.
- Coordinate and maintain communication with internal teams and external contractors.
- Distribute and plan maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and ad hoc requests.
- Select and procure required materials while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation including work permits, LOTO procedures, and other required forms.
- Monitor progress of maintenance activities and manage maintenance shutdown planning.
- Advise on solutions for technical issues and evaluate alternative products and services.
- Completed technical MBO?4 education (E, WTB, WtK).
- Strong organizational skills and experience with planning and work permits.
- Experience with maintenance systems such as SAP PM.
- Broad technical knowledge of utilities, production equipment, and building installations.
- Skilled in writing reports, proposals, and planning documents.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- High focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
- Analytical, proactive, collaborative, and able to make well-considered decisions.
- Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Operates in a production environment with responsibility over utilities, production, and building-related systems.
