The Role: Independent working chef -I
Job Description and Tasks: From our new colleague, we expect that he/she will:
- Prepares the ingredients for the dishes and assess the quality of the products/ingredients.
- Applies basic cooking techniques, prepares and presents dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Carries out preparatory work (cutting, mixing, etc.) and intermediate quality controls.
- Is responsible for inventory and order management, and keeping the kitchen and equipment clean.
- Professionally supervises assistant(s) and provides input regarding the composition and modification of menus, the menu card, and methods.
- Contributes ideas for kitchen improvements.
- Is able to guide junior staff in the kitchen.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- MBO 3 working and thinking level.
- Someone who has demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Good communication skills in English/Dutch.
