ResponsibilitiesIn the role of a Logistics Supervisor, you will assist in managing the QSC EMEA third-party logistics (3PL) operation, ensuring smooth and efficient warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment activities throughout the region. The Logistics Supervisor ensures seamless coordination between internal teams and 3PL provider to deliver goods accurately and on time, while contributing to continuous process improvement, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Your Role
- Lead Regional 3PL Operations: Manage QSC EMEA third-party logistics (3PL) operations, ensuring efficient execution of warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment activities aligned with performance standards.
- Support Daily Logistics Activities: Assist the Logistics Manager – EMEA in overseeing day-to-day logistics functions, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes.
- Customer Service Coordination: Collaborate with Customer Service teams to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- 3PL Provider Management: Liaise with external logistics partners to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, returns, and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory availability; prepare regular performance reports.
- System Transactions & Shipment Tracking: Execute Oracle transactions for shipping, receiving, and inventory movements; monitor inbound shipments and address any discrepancies.
- Billing & Claims Oversight: Ensure accuracy of freight and distribution billing; manage insurance claims for lost or damaged goods.
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Support logistics improvement initiatives, ensure adherence to trade compliance and customs regulations, and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction across the region.
Education and Experience
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations, ideally in a regional or multi-country environment.
- Hands-on experience working with 3PL partners and managing international logistics preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Comprehensive Logistics Expertise: Strong understanding of logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, and 3PL management.
- ERP System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems for executing logistics transactions and generating reports.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities, effective time management, and a proactive approach to resolving logistics issues.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams and regions.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including the ability to create data-driven reports, charts, and presentations.
- Multilingual & Flexible: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Responsible and adaptable, with a willingness to support logistics operations across different regions.
