SAP UI5 / Fiori Frontend Developer (ID:3466)

Overview

As a SAP UI5 / Fiori Frontend Developer, you will:

• Design and develop SAPUI5 and Fiori-based frontend applications using standard floorplans
• Translate UX design wireframes into high-quality, functional, and visually accurate UI components
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI specialists to ensure designs are feasible, user-friendly, and aligned with UI guidelines
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
• Implement REST and OData-based integrations to connect frontend applications with backend services
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and stability
• Ensure frontend solutions comply with security, quality, and architectural standards
• Conduct peer code reviews and actively promote high-quality coding practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab
• Work within Agile / Scrum or SAFe environments, using tools like Jira and Jira Align
• Proactively share challenges, best practices, and technical improvements with development and UX teams

What You Bring to the Table

• 6–8 years of hands-on frontend development experience with strong focus on SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori
• Proven expertise in SAPUI5 framework and Fiori floorplans
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
• Experience working with REST and OData services
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab
• Strong background in building secure, high-performance enterprise applications
• Experience with software quality and vulnerability testing tools such as SonarQube
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum and SAFe frameworks
• Working knowledge of UX principles and frontend architecture standards
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus
• Willingness to learn new technologies such as Angular or JSF with PrimeFaces

You Should Possess the Ability to

• Convert UX designs into robust, scalable, and reusable frontend components
• Collaborate effectively with UX/UI specialists and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Maintain a strong focus on code quality, security, and performance optimization
• Perform and incorporate feedback from peer code reviews
• Follow architectural principles and implement solutions aligned with platform standards
• Adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and frameworks
