SAP BTP HANA Cloud Modeling Consultant (ID:3452)

Overview

As a SAP BTP HANA Cloud Modeling Consultant, you will:

• Act as a Senior SAP HANA Cloud Modeling Consultant, delivering high-quality data models and analytics solutions on SAP BTP.
• Design and develop HANA Cloud models, including Calculation Views, Table Functions, and SQL Stored Procedures.
• Work on end-to-end SAP HANA implementations, contributing as a HANA Modeler in productive environments.
• Lead and execute XS Classic to XS Advanced (XSA) migration, including HANA Cloud migration using the XSA Migration Toolkit.
• Leverage XS Advanced features, including XSOData and XSJS, to build scalable and secure data services.
• Collaborate with SAP BW teams, supporting and integrating SAP BW on HANA solutions.
• Support HANA Cloud migration initiatives, ensuring performance optimization and data consistency.
• Implement and support DevOps practices, integrating development and deployment pipelines using Jenkins and BitBucket.
• Work with real-time and near-real-time data integration technologies such as SDA, SDI, and SLT.

What You Bring to the Table

• 8–10 years of overall SAP experience, with strong specialization in SAP HANA and SAP BTP.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA Cloud Modeling, including Calculation Views, Table Functions, and SQL Stored Procedures.
• Proven experience working on multiple full-cycle SAP HANA implementations in productive environments.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in XS Advanced (XSA) migration.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP BW on HANA.
• Solid experience with HANA Cloud migration using standard SAP migration toolkits.
• Deep expertise in SQL, with a strong focus on performance and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins and BitBucket.
• Practical exposure to SDA, SDI, and SLT concepts and integrations.

You Should Possess the Ability To

• Design efficient, scalable, and high-performing HANA data models aligned with business requirements.
• Lead and execute XSA and HANA Cloud migration activities independently.
• Work across development, analytics, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Apply DevOps best practices for CI/CD automation and version control.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize SQL and HANA artifacts.
