What you do
As the Supervisory Visa Assistant, you directly supervise the locally employed (LE) staff assigned visa-related portfolios (approximately six people). You are the first point of contact for nonimmigrant visa (NIV) and immigrant visa (IV) assistance for the Visa Chief and Consular Chief, and are responsible for the overall training and direction of LE staff performing visa work. You plan and organize work operations, establish workload priorities in coordination with the Visa Chief, and ensure proper application of applicable regulations. You will also act as visa intake coordinator and report directly to the Visa Chief, or in the absence of the Visa Chief, to the Consular Chief.
What we ask (minimal requirements to apply)
· Six years of experience working in an office environment that requires dealing with the public, as well as experience in NIV and IV matters is required. At least one year of experience supervising or managing a team of employees is required.
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Speaking/Reading/Writing Level IV (fluent) English and Dutch is required. (This may be tested.)
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass security certification and may be required to obtain a Certificate of Conduct for Natural Persons (VOG) from the Ministry of Safety and Justice of the Netherlands.
What we offer
· Annual salary of EUR 56,284 – EUR 78,795
· 8.33 % End of year bonus (13th month)
