Poké Perfect is a restaurant chain specialised in poke bowls. The years have flown by since we opened the first poke restaurant in the Netherlands and you can now find us in many cities.

Do you see yourself working within the nicest poké company in the country and do you enjoy managing a young, enthusiastic team? In order to provide both locals and tourists, as well as shoppers and business customers with our healthy and tasty bowls, we are looking for a full-time manager, also known as Poké Chief, for our branch on Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. In this position, you will be responsible for the ins and outs of the entire branch, including managing, training and coaching staff.

You can be found on the work floor a lot, so you know what is going on and give suggestions on the spot and think in solutions. You are also involved in administrative tasks, such as hiring and induction of new staff, making the schedule, keeping track of stocks and HACCP registrations. You also carry out monthly audits and discuss the results with your manager. The common goal is to ensure that all customers can enjoy our fresh poké bowls with a smile.

The hours of a Poké Chief are flexible, but as the emphasis in our business is on evenings, it is important that you can be present on very busy evenings yourself.

We would like to meet you if you:

1. Have at least one MBO degree, preferably in the field of hospitality
2. Have at least 4 years of relevant work experience within a hospitality company
3. Have experience in managing a team
4. Are familiar with HACCP procedures
5. Have good communication skills
6. Speak good Dutch and English
7. Are motivated and enjoy working with people
8. Do not mind jumping in during peak hours and also want to assist the team in a practical sense
9. Can work quickly and withstand time pressure

2. You keep an overview, even at busy times
3. You are hospitable and think from the customer's point of view
4. You will be responsible for the site as a whole, with all aspects involved
5. You are good at anticipating various situations and taking action where necessary, and are not afraid to make your own decisions
6. You have a keen eye for the quality of end products
7. You ensure a safe and hygienic working environment and understand its importance
8. You will do light administrative work, including making the schedule, keeping track of stocks and HACCP records
