The Finance Business Partnering team aims to be a valued business partner in realizing Deloitte's strategy by providing actionable insights and building trust through expertise, transparency, and agility. You will share your expertise with 6 colleagues in the Finance Business Partnering team, collaborating with the larger Finance team of approximately 60 colleagues in the Netherlands and India. You report to Nico Rensing, the Head of Finance Business Partnering.

In the role of Finance Business Partner Clients & Industries, you will also:
- Fulfill a central role for the Industry Leads, overseeing Deloitte’s performance across all Businesses;
- Enhance decision-making and become a trusted business partner, helping and challenging the industries to drive profitable growth in advisory businesses through our (global) Multi-Disciplinary Model approach;
- Offer financial expertise and guidance to Industry leaders, enabling data-driven decision-making;
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial projections, making sure that strategic goals are embedded;
- Advise the CFO on the outcomes of planning and forecasting in relation to annual plans and targets;
- Provide proactive and forward-thinking analyses, guided by a comprehensive understanding of the industry, in terms that industry and business leaders can readily understand and act upon;
- Focus on evaluating the financial outcomes of (global) strategic initiatives and incorporate the impact of these initiatives into the annual or long-term planning and forecasting;
- Preparing reports that include your (ad hoc) analyses and key attention points for management and other key stakeholders;
- Guide other departments by researching, analyzing and interpreting data;
- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Good to know: You will act as a Financial Business Partner for the various Industry Leads across different sectors, including Consumer, Energy Resources & Industrials, Financial Services, Government & Public Services, Life Science & Health Care, and Technology Media & Telecom. This is a position with high exposure and numerous stakeholders. You report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, but you will also work closely with the CFO of Deloitte. Your scope is enormous, as the industries are collectively responsible for a revenue of 1.4 billion.

- An university or bachelor's degree in finance (business economics/accountancy);
- 3-5 years relevant working experience in a Controller role;
- Experience in an international matrix organization;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering complex financial information in a clear and concise manner at all levels of the organization;
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to broader business strategies;
- You are tech-savvy and enjoy thinking about digitalization possibilities;
- Collaboratively-focused and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and ever-changing business;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and preferably Power BI and SAP;
- An excellent command of written and spoken English.
