As a Pega Lead/Senior System Architect, you will be part of the global Pega Center of Excellence responsible for ensuring all Pega platforms in the DLL enterprise are built to be scalable, available, and secure. You will be involved in providing guidance and support to implementation teams from ideation to implementation, as well as promoting Pega best practices on all active implementations. And probably the most exciting for a Pega architect; you will have a hand in charting our course as we make our journey to (Pega) Infinity and beyond.
Day to day:- Performing Pega BPM fit assessments on potential adoption opportunities to ensure the product is the best tool to solve the business problem at hand.
- Provide guidance from ideation, implementation, all the way to operation to the global Pega adoption community in DLL.
- Provide installation, as well as maintenance guidance, to ensure we have uniform platforms setup to offer high availability, scalability, and security.
- Design solutions based on the business requirements and ensure these are within architectural boundaries.
- Ensure all platforms are tracked to have the latest critical patches as Pega distributes them.
- Stay on top of platform Life Cycle Management, ensuring all the adoption community is aware of the need to upgrade in advance, at the same time ensuring new versions are compatible with the assets in the Enterprise Layer.
- Participating or aiding Delivery Teams in selecting implementation vendors, including screening resources during recruitment.
- Providing System Design Reviews for Pega projects in DLL.
- Cultivating and promoting interest to ensure the Pega Community of Practice continues to grow.

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years solid PEGA experience in Pega 7 and Pega Infinity.
- Certified as either CSSA or LSA in Pega 7 or Pega Infinity.
- Experience with process methodology, data modelling, integrations, frameworks, and development methodologies (SAFE Agile) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM.
- Strong experience with scoping, planning, and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles.
- Previous experience as a lead architect on multiple large-scale product or enterprise designs.
- Expertise and good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems including architecting and designing for performance and scalability.
- Solid fundamentals in Core Java & Object-Oriented concepts.
- Experience in Web technologies including Servlets, JSP, and XML. Should have hands-on experience in developing web applications.
- Excellent skills in any of the RDBMS tools like SQL Server or Oracle. Should be proficient in SQL commands.
- Experience in client-side technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
- Experience in full implementation cycle including Enterprise Class Structure design and Rule sets design.
- Fluently English speaking. Dutch is preferred.
