As Continuous Improvement specialist you have a leading role in supporting, coaching and challenging operational leadership in executing a continuous improvement mindset and day to day way of working in order to drive performance and improve client service. You will be the driving force for continuous improvement within 1 or several warehouse sites and be part of the continuous improvement network within Bleckmann. You will be in charge of the following responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the Continuous Improvement Way of Working (supported by enabling structures and tools) is, and remains, in place and is used to its full extent by the operational leadership;
• Ensuring that the Continuous Improvement Way of Working leads to results for the three stakeholders involved: deliver efficiency gains for the shareholders, embed CI culture in the Business teams, and provide high level of quality to the customers;
• Further developing the Continuous Improvement knowledge and capabilities within the Bleckmann Continuous Improvement community.

Do you have a previous experience in continuous improvement? Then Bleckmann is looking for you!

• You have several years of experience in Continuous improvement methodology and execution;
• You lead by example in the way you work. Hands on mentality when needed to show the way forward;
• You have a true passion for continuous improvement.

Besides you have the following skills/ knowledge:

• Prior experience in change management and deployment of continuous improvement. You are familiar with continuous improvement methodologies, such as 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean;
• You can easily connect with people and are able to motivate leadership to change their behavior by your coaching and training skills;
• You are strong in identifying issues, structural problem solving and data-driven analysis;
• You have basic project management competencies;
• Strong written and oral skills in both Dutch and English;
• Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision;
• Occasionally, you are willing to travel to other sites within our region Southern Netherlands, but the main focus will be in Bergen op Zoom;
• Knowledge of WMS and other relevant logistics applications is a plus;
• Knowledge of (Fashion / Lifestyle) logistics is a plus.
