We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is passionate about sustainability to join our Sustainable IT squad Wavemakers. You will support the embedding of sustainability in the way of working of approximately 8 tribes within Retail NL Tech (RNLT).
About Wavemakers
Wavemakers provides teams with the means to assess and visualize their carbon footprint, based on their code and resource usage. The squad aims to enable teams to leverage these tools and training, to effectively reduce their environmental impact while fostering a culture of sustainable IT within Rabobank.
You and your job
As a Business Analyst you are the link between business and IT. Your team is responsible for offering consultancy and innovative technical solutions for complex Sustainable IT challenges, covering all aspects of the DevOps lifecycle. You will gather, analyze and document the technical and business requirements of RNLT tribes, areas and individual DevOps teams, to incorporate Sustainable IT into their way of working.
With sustainability as your main focus, you need to be flexible in your thinking. Building on existing assets and coming up with “out of the box” solutions to meet a wide range of stakeholders’ needs, is highly valued.
Together we achieve more
You will regularly meet with stakeholders to promote your team’s offerings across the tribes. As the eyes and ears of your team, you will actively identify ways to bring innovative sustainable IT solutions to the bank. You will collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure that the team aligns its strategy and service offerings with the requirements of multiple tribes while coordinating with relevant stakeholders and initiatives across Rabobank.
Given the rapid evolution of sustainability needs and the exponential growth of new technologies and research (e.g., Generative AI, Sustainable IT), your work will be dynamic and always challenging.

- Support the product owner in the business development and align with various stakeholders (on all levels, across RNLT) to understand their needs;
- Apply various communication styles that best suit the target audience and enhance their willingness to commit to change;
- Promote and market new and existing offerings of your team in order to reach as much as teams as possible;
- Support your team with the realization of the technical solutions your team offers;
- Create and manage continuously improving consultancy and IT offerings for sustainable IT;
