As Cloud Engineering Manager, you’ll:- Lead and mentor the Cloud Engineering team to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
- Empower development teams by providing reusable building blocks and enabling them to maintain their own applications.
- Define and communicate scope and priorities clearly to stakeholders, representing Cloud Engineering within the Tech Leadership team.
- Set and achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) while designing for resilience across networking, DNS, and disaster recovery.
- Drive automation and “everything-as-code” practices (Terraform, CI/CD, compliance-as-code, runbooks-as-code) to ensure safe, efficient change management.
- Enhance observability and reliability across workloads to reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR).
- Collaborate across Architecture, Security, Development, Data, and Operations to establish guardrails, automate routine maintenance, and share standards.
- Lead a high‑performing Cloud/DevOps team running 24×7 AWS production across regions.
- Inspire colleagues with strong leadership, service orientation, and a collaborative mindset.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for reliability.
- Apply solid cloud networking, DNS, and security fundamentals with real‑world incident experience.
- Support teams in achieving continuous deployment while balancing cost, capacity, and resilience.
- Communicate fluently in both English and Dutch, thriving in an international environment with pragmatic solutions.
- A monthly salary indication between €6.100,- and €8.500,- plus benefits based on a 40‑hour week and flexible working hours.
