(Senior) Candidate Civil Law Notary – Amsterdam

HDDN Legal Search is looking for an entrepreneurial ( senior) candidate civil law notary corporate law (around 3-8 years PQE). You will work as an integral part of the team of lawyers and tax lawyers on high level transactions, for a leading boutique law firm in Amsterdam.

The over 100 fee earners of this boutique law firm offer integrated legal, regulatory and tax advice, with their strongest focus areas being M&A, private equity, and corporate restructurings. The team has a unique domestic and cross-border track record, with a focus on all the transactional areas. The team is open, committed and bright and all senior professionals are derived from global law firms. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a (senior) candidate civil law notary with knowledge of corporate law and a firm business acumen. The right candidate is somebody who contributes to the team as a person, who can work independently and who knows how to quickly put the knowledge and experience into practice.

You will have a responsible role and will participate in the practice in which you supervise transactions from A to Z. As a candidate civil law notary you work as an integral part of the practice, together with lawyers, tax specialists, (junior) civil-law notaries at the office and with colleagues from befriended domestic and foreign law firms. Besides the regular notarial activities, you will also work on a broader perspective, meaning you will be engaged with work that is usually done by lawyers. You will be involved in joint ventures, M&A transactions, VC and PE deals, international restructurings, securities, corporate governance and general corporate law advisory.

• Around 3-8 years of working experience as a candidate civil law notary at a multidisciplinary law firm. Excellent knowledge of corporate law.
• Proactive and hands-on team player with the desire to complement the practice and enable the firm to grow . Pragmatic and service oriented. Able to work independently with the interpersonal skills to fit into a collegiate team.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch.
