As a Senior Electrical Designer, you are responsible for the electrical design of control systems for mechatronic systems and products.
- You are involved from the specification phase based on customer requirements to the validation of the realized product.
- You work in a multidisciplinary team and specify, design, and oversee the implementation of the electrical infrastructure of mechatronic systems.
- You find challenges in solving complex problems in a multidisciplinary setting.
- You easily navigate relevant guidelines and standards and incorporate them into your design.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
You will work in a variety of high-tech projects with an average duration of 1 year in a stimulating environment. You will have the freedom to use your creativity and come up with original solutions. Product development from idea to operational product, from single pieces to series production. Diverse activities due to the diversity in technology, markets, and projects. This is what you bring to the table- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
- As a Senior Designer, you have at least 7 years of relevant experience in specifying and designing the electrical infrastructure of complex systems.
- You have an affinity with other disciplines such as mechanics, software, mathware, control & dynamics.
- You have good knowledge of electrical components such as cablings and cabinets in small volumes and know your way in relevant guidelines and standards.
- You have experience with ECAD systems, such as Eplan.
- You are passionate and have good communication skills.
