The Junior Demand Planner supports forecasting and inventory by analyzing sales data, building models, collaborates with sales, customer service & marketing, and maintains system accuracy. The more precise the demand forecasts are, the better a company can manage its inventory, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Forecasting Support: Assist in creating and updating demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and promotional insights for short/long terms.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales figures, identify variances, research market trends, and maintain forecast accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Product teams to understand drivers and align plans.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, identify potential stockouts/overstock, and help coordinate with suppliers.
- System & Reporting: Maintain forecast data in systems, generate reports, and contribute to process improvements.
- S&OP Support: Help coordinate Sales & Operations Planning meetings and gather data.
- New Product Support: Assist with forecasts for new product launches and phase-outs.
- Purchase Order Management: Create, review, and maintain purchase orders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with demand and inventory plans.
- Supplier Coordination: Manage supplier relationships by tracking purchase order progress, following up on deliveries, resolving discrepancies, and supporting on-time supply execution.

- 3-5 years of related experience in operational environment, preferably with an international focus, working with transporters and customs agencies is an advantage. Prior internship in Demand Planning/Supply Chain is preferred.
- Good skills in basic computing, MS office, Excel, Word, Power point, Internet etc
- Proficient organizational skills with the ability to effectively work on multiple projects
