IT Portfolio & FinOps Manager

Your Role

As IT Portfolio & FinOps Manager within the IT department, you are responsible for governing the IT investment portfolio and driving financial accountability across all IT services and cloud environments. Your role is to ensure that IT initiatives are strategically aligned with business objectives while optimizing costs through mature FinOps practices. This role requires strategic thinking, financial expertise and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Portfolio Management

• Develop and maintain the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy
• Facilitate prioritization and resource allocation across projects and programs
• Monitor portfolio health, including budget adherence, timelines, risks and value realization
• Prepare executive-level reporting and dashboards on portfolio performance

Financial Operations (FinOps)

• Implement and mature FinOps practices for cloud and IT services
• Track analyze and forecast IT spend across all environments
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify savings opportunities
• Ensure cost transparency and accountability with business units
• Collaborate with Finance and Procurement on contract negotiations and vendor optimization

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and ITIL
• Maintain compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements
