Job DescriptionThe Senior Product Design and Development Manager is responsible for driving the creation and execution of the product pipeline within the specialized nutrition category. In this position, you guide the technical direction of projects, ensuring that product designs are grounded in scientific insight, regulatory compliance, and consumer needs. You will contribute to both strategic planning and hands-on development work, leading formulation activities and safeguarding quality from early design through commercialization. Additionally, you will work with multiple internal partners to secure timely and efficient project delivery, while providing mentorship to other team members involved in product development.
Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional collaboration to design, develop, and deliver category-focused product initiatives.
- Serve as the technical representative in project teams to ensure strong R&D expertise is embedded in decision-making.
- Oversee formulation development using robust design principles and documented risk management.
- Ensure all product documentation aligns with internal processes and governance requirements.
- Support and mentor other product developers within the team.
- Drive excellence in execution and ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
- Master's or PhD in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in product development or R&D, preferably in specialized nutrition.
- Strong technical background and proficiency with formulation and development tools.
- Solid understanding of quality, food safety, and regulatory standards within this category.
- Experience with qualification and validation activities.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet defined deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across different levels and departments.
- Self-driven, flexible, resilient, and comfortable in an international and fast-changing environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Salary indication: €6400 - €8300 gross per month
