Your goalWe are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join us in Marktlink Capital. This role involves managing the financial administration of our investment funds to support our continuous growth.
The successful candidate will quickly grasp our fund administration processes and actively contribute to managing our expanding portfolio. This role is not for those with a rigid 9-to-5 mentality, but offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities, potentially managing your own portfolio of funds within Marktlink Capital.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Review bookkeeping activities including accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, movements in investment property, lease incentives, intangibles, and service charges reconciliations according to Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare and review distributions and capital contribution requests.
- Prepare and review cash flow statements.
- Prepare client-specific periodic (fund) reporting.
- Coordinate CIT & VAT returns.
- Prepare the audit file and assist with statutory audits.
- Follow up and coordinate on client-specific accounting and/or fund requests.
- Manage relationship contacts on internal and external matters.
- Maintain communication with shareholders, clients, banks, auditors, and other relevant parties.
- Ensure delivery of other services as required in collaboration with other teams.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP (IFRS knowledge is an asset).
- ACCA certification is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or financial services, preferably in fund management.
- Strong understanding of fund administration, including NAV calculation processes and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
