AI Solution Architect

Tarucca is looking for a great AI Solution Architect / Chief Data Scientist to join its startup team as a co-owner.

Our team members want to contribute actively to the green energy transition and to a more sustainable world.

Tarucca is developing and operating AI-powered condition monitoring and damage detection solutions for predictive maintenance and asset management of wind turbine blades.

By reducing inspection and repair downtime, we help wind park operators increase electricity production, decrease O&M costs, and reduce the need for scarce resources.

Our photonic-sensor-based IoT systems and AI software will keep offshore wind energy scalable and sustainable.

Tarucca is a startup from Eindhoven that will conduct its research pilots during 2023.

Therefore, we are looking for an AI Solution Architect to join our startup. The role includes:

1. Planning the implementation of solutions and evaluating the evolution of the architecture as the clients’ needs change.
2. Managing the architecture based on restrictions, conflicting requirements, and any other limitations faced.
3. Deep understanding of AI applications and the specific infrastructure we are working with.
4. Making specific judgment calls based on previous AI experience and informing the management/engineering/business team in layman’s terms.
5. Steering and supporting junior software team members as they develop parts of our solution.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in computer science, data science, or an AI-related discipline.
2. Proven track record of implementing machine-learning solutions (GitLab/GitHub) referral.
3. Experience in a similar type of role.
4. Preferably, experience in neural networks/anomaly detection.
5. Successfully delivering the data science part of pilot projects.
6. Availability of a minimum of 8 working hours per week at the start, with the aim of working 40 hours per week in the long run.
7. Eager to work in an early-stage startup company, identifying needs, and flexible to take on required tasks.
8. Motivated, driven by the urge to perform and contribute to our cause.
9. Willing to live on a minimal salary, appreciating the option for shares in the company.
10. Honest, straightforward, professional, considerate, and a pleasure to work with.
